What is FameGrid?
FameGrid is a paid visibility grid for X (Twitter) creators, published at famegrid.app. The board is 18 columns by 30 rows, which is 540 cells. A creator buys a cell in one of four sizes — Basic 1×1 for $10, Featured 2×1 for $25, Premium 2×2 for $50, or VIP 3×3 for $100 — and pays once through Stripe. The cell stays on the grid for as long as FameGrid operates. Each cell opens a FameGrid profile that shows the creator’s X avatar, name, bio, follower count, and, on Featured and above, cached posts from X. Rankings on the Hall of Fame use profile clicks stored on FameGrid, not X impressions.
How much does a FameGrid spot cost?
A FameGrid spot costs $10, $25, $50, or $100, paid once. Basic is $10 for a 1×1 cell and one pinned post. Featured is $25 for a 2×1 block and five cached posts. Premium is $50 for a 2×2 block and ten cached posts. VIP is $100 for a 3×3 block and twenty cached posts. There is no monthly fee and no renewal. Larger tiers occupy more of the 540-cell board and sit higher on first view. Checkout runs on Stripe from the reserve page.
Is FameGrid a subscription?
No. FameGrid charges a single Stripe payment per cell. There is no monthly plan, no yearly plan, and no fee that restarts after a trial. After checkout, the creator’s X profile stays on the 18-by-30 grid for as long as the site runs. A later upgrade is a new payment for a larger tier; the original cell stays the anchor of the expanded block.
How does FameGrid count clicks?
FameGrid counts a click each time someone opens that creator’s FameGrid profile page at /creator/[handle]. Those clicks live on the creator record and feed the Hall of Fame ranking. A FameGrid click is not an X impression, not a visit to x.com, and not a like or repost. Follower growth is tracked separately from daily snapshots and shown next to click rank on the profile and on This Week.
What if the cell I want is taken?
FameGrid places a new purchase on the nearest open cells that fit the chosen tier. Basic needs one empty cell. Featured needs two adjacent cells in a 2×1. Premium needs a 2×2. VIP needs a 3×3. Larger tiers are preferred for upper rows. If the remaining board cannot fit that size, that tier cannot complete checkout until cells free up.
Can I upgrade my FameGrid tier later?
Yes. A creator who already owns a cell can buy a higher tier. FameGrid expands the block from the original cell. The buyer pays the new tier price through Stripe. Cached posts on the profile then match the new tier: five on Featured, ten on Premium, twenty on VIP. The Hall of Fame rank still uses the same click counter.
What does FameGrid pull from X?
After checkout, FameGrid stores the creator’s X handle, display name, avatar, bio, and follower count. Featured, Premium, and VIP profiles also cache recent posts — 5, 10, or 20. Posts refresh on a background schedule from X, not on every page view, so profile pages do not wait on the X API. Creators do not upload a media kit after payment.
Can I credit who told me about FameGrid?
Yes. The reserve form has an optional “Who told you?” field for an X handle. After payment, that handle appears as “Brought by @handle” on the new profile. Creators who bring others onto the board receive a scout mark. This is a public credit, not a checkout discount. Stripe promo codes can still be entered on the Stripe payment page.
Who built FameGrid?
FameGrid was built by audiencon (https://x.com/audiencon). The live site is https://famegrid.app. Contact and updates go through those X profiles. The grid, directory, Hall of Fame, and creator pages are public; checkout, success, and admin routes are not indexed.
